Craft Board is waterproof , impervious to petroleum, and unaffected by climate change. It will not warp, crack, twist, curl, rot, or support insects, even after years of exterior exposure.
Unlike wood, Craft Board does not absorb, or release water. Properly applied paint or coatings will not be lifted off because of water in the substrate.
Craft Board has many of the characteristics of wood, but without the grain. This total lack of grain, call unicellular, allows the foam to be carved or machined without the grain tearing or causing the cutting tool to wander.
It will behave regardless of which direction the cutting or finishing tool moves. This product is a favorite with Craftsmen, hobbyists, and model makers.
